About the studio

Patient photography, without the fuss

Coda Grove is a small studio built around one idea: people look most like themselves when nobody is directing every second. I work quietly, mostly in natural light, and give moments room to happen.

Whether it's a wedding day, a family portrait or a place that matters to you, the aim is the same. I want you to have pictures that still feel true years from now.

Sessions

Ways to work together

Every commission is shaped around your plans. These are the three most common starting points.

01 — Weddings

Weddings & Elopements

From small courthouse mornings to full-day celebrations, told as one continuous story.

  • Planning call and timeline advice
  • Coverage from preparations to first dance
  • Hand-edited online gallery
02 — People

Portraits

Relaxed portraits for individuals, couples and families, at home or somewhere outdoors that means something to you.

  • Location and wardrobe guidance
  • An unhurried session in good light
  • Curated selection of finished images
03 — Place

Place & Editorial

Atmospheric imagery of spaces, landscapes and makers for small brands, guesthouses and publications.

  • Shot list shaped with you
  • Morning or golden-hour scheduling
  • Files prepared for web and print
How it works

From first note to finished gallery

  1. Say hello

Send a short enquiry with your date and a few words about what you have in mind.

  2. Plan together

We talk through timing, light and locations so the day feels easy.

  3. The session

A calm, unhurried shoot. Mostly you just enjoy it, and I watch for the moments.

  4. Your gallery

A hand-edited private gallery, ready to download, share and print.

Questions

Good to know

If your question isn't here, just ask in the enquiry form.

Do you travel for sessions?

Yes. Travel is welcome for weddings, elopements and editorial work. Tell me where you're headed and I'll include it in your proposal.

How long until we see our photographs?

A handful of preview images arrive shortly after the session. The full hand-edited gallery follows once editing is complete, and I'll give you a clear timeframe when we book.

Can we print and share the images?

Of course. Your gallery includes personal-use rights to print, frame and share. Commercial use for editorial clients is agreed in writing up front.

We feel awkward in front of a camera. Is that okay?

Most people do. Sessions start slowly, with simple prompts rather than stiff poses, and the camera soon fades into the background.
